How to become a Europroject Manager?
To become a successful Europroject Manager, you need, in addition to completing a specialization course like our Europroject Management Master, to know European policies and priorities, and stay constantly updated on European programs. You also need project management knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. And, most importantly, you need to write projects and win the funds!
What does Europroject Management mean?
Europroject Management means designing, writing, submitting, and implementing projects that respond to calls published by the European Commission. Europroject Managers are professionals who specialize in Europroject Management and are required to have specific skills and practical experience to create truly innovative projects that win European calls.
How much does a Europroject Manager earn in Italy?
It depends on the type of work and the associated earnings! If the manager is employed by an organization with a salary as an employee, the monthly pay is around 1500-1800 euros. Freelancers, however, can negotiate a fee for consultancy or a percentage (between 3 and 5%) of the funding from the call. In this case, earnings can be very high, depending on the type of funding requested, but you need to win!
How much can you earn with a European project?
It depends on the type of call/program and the funding requested – this amount is, of course, highly variable. If the Europroject Manager receives a percentage, it is usually between 3% and 5%.
What degree does a European project manager have?
There is no specific degree required to become a European project manager. Project managers can have a degree in humanities, economics, international relations, or other fields. They often choose to complement their studies with a course or a Europroject Management master’s program.
What does a European project manager do?
A Europroject Manager is an expert in EU funding. They can work as a freelancer, at a European project agency, or for public or private organizations that regularly participate in calls for European funding. Their job involves monitoring outgoing calls, submitting proposals, and, of course, writing winning projects that secure funds in the various sectors where the European Union intervenes. During the project phase, the Europroject Manager verifies the accessibility of the call, manages international partners, and designs the best and most competitive project to win the call. Once funding is secured, they manage the ongoing project and its reporting.
Who writes European projects?
The professional responsible for writing European projects is the Europroject Manager.
What are European projects?
European projects are those whose funds are directly provided by the European Commission or funds given by the European Union to regions through specific funding plans, which are then distributed via calls.
Where does a Europroject Manager work?
A Europroject Manager can work as a freelancer, in a European project agency, or for public or private organizations that regularly participate in calls for European funding.
How to participate in a European project?
To participate in a European project, you need an innovative idea, find the right program and call to finance it, secure the right partners, and start writing a winning project! The answer to this question is the core of the Europroject Management Master’s program at Europa Business School.

Student testimonials
A highly positive experience with the academic office and the teachers: always available, friendly, and ready to lend a hand! The course provides solid foundations to better understand the world of EU project design and participate in calls for proposals. The theoretical lessons are clear, comprehensive, and rich in content. The practical exercises allow you to work on existing calls and test your project management skills. An added value of this Master’s program is that it uses the official EU project design tools throughout the course.
I am very happy to finally have my title of 'EU Project Manager.' I attended the Master's in EU Project Design online last March after being recommended by a colleague. During the lessons, we use the official EU project design tools and are encouraged to work on numerous 'real-life' projects and examples, with our focus on an Erasmus Plus call. At the end of the course, we receive online mentoring through a Facebook group, with various instructors supporting us in writing an actual project. Thanks to everyone!
I attended the Master's in EU Projects Design & Management last September, and it was one of the best choices I've ever made. The course provided me with the skills and knowledge needed to write a successful project and access EU funding to implement it. The lessons were very well organized, the instructors were highly qualified, and always available to help the class with any doubts that might arise. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to access EU funding or simply acquire valuable skills that are in high demand in today's job market.
